![]() ![]() If you own a FF stick, no doubt that you see what I mean. it was very strange to fly with my MS FF2 stick without Force Feedback support from MSFS. Trying to adjust it from within IL2 does not work either. 1 2 3 Next of 3 Simicro LFPG Members 246 1,114 posts Location:France Donor Posted (edited) Hi everyone, Yesterday was my first day with MSFS and. joystick controllers, which are still popular and still most appropriate for playing flight simulator and air combat games. The automatic driver in Win 10 does not allow to adjust ffb or decrease the resistance forces. AFAIK all versions of Microsoft Flight Simulator from 1998 to X supported force feedback, so 98, 2000, 2002, 2004 and X. Enabled by our unique CLS2Sim software-environment, the CLS-E Joystick communicates easily with commercially available flight simulation software such as X-Plane, M-FSX and Prepar3D®. I can use the stick, but the force is too strong with this one, it is as if you push against a kilogram in all directions, and i have no means to get either FFB working, not can i reduce the force itself to less resistance. I still have my Wingman Force 3D, and I played quite a bit of Flight Simulator 2002 with it. The MS FFB stick is recognized alright in Windows 10 pro, i can use all buttons, views, movements, twist and so on.īut FFB is not working. To set it up I did the following: In Flight Simulator 2020, Under Options - Controls select the tab that has the Sidewinder. I can install IL2 with all its bells, whistles, updates and patches, it works. I got my MS Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 working with Flight Simulator 2020 tonight. ![]() ![]() So, I would like to play IL 2 (the old original one) in Windows 10, with the old MS Sidewinder FFB 2 USB stick. I cannot adjust it via Win 10 driver (no force control window), and not from within the sims. Or better it woks, but the resisting force is much too strong (motors working at 100 percent in all directions or so it feels), and FFB does not work at all in those sims mentioned. I still have an old but working MS Sidewinder FFB 2, which works well in Rise of Flight or WOFF, on a Win 10 64 bit PC.īut it does not work properly with MS Flight simulator 2004 and X, and not in the old IL 2. ![]()
